Nathan sent me a link to
David Wheeler's blog, particularly a post about
emulating namespaces in javascript.
That looks pretty nice to program with, but the "." in javascript isn't free. Since its not statically typed, that's a symbol lookup everytime. I've seen people do things like:
var floor = Math.floor;
to speed up their javascript. Usually we don't have to worry about that, cause the client's computer has nothing better to do, right?
Uhh... right?
